Everyday Korean

The Holga begins to take on my daily life in Korea. These photographs were taken in the areas immediately surrounding my place of work, Sungbuk SLP. Alleys of traditional Korean homes are juxtaposed with modern, towering apartment and office buildings.

The tall building in the background is the building that houses Sungbuk SLP. We occupy one floor of a large office building.

Jesus pamphlets are everywhere. crosses are everywhere. From the roof of my apartment building alone, I can see 16 neon crosses.

These blue boxes baffle me! They come out when it snows… to fill with snow? Not much snow would fit in the box. Not to mention, you put the snow in the box… and then what?

This is my bus stop across from my apartment in Jeongneung.
