Spanning three provinces, Jirisan National Park is a beast of massive proportions. Over the course of two days, we crossed the park from west to east, covering 32 kilometers and tackling over 10 monstrous peaks. We faced immense physical and emotional challenges over the course of this ultra hike. The above picture was taken at 3am on Saturday, September 21st from Nogodan Peak as the sun began to rise. In the distance is Cheongwangbong, the final peak we would climb a mere 36 hours later. The following photos chronicle our epic journey across Jirisan National Park. Thanks again to The Warren for taking Seoul Hiking Group on this fantastic trip.
