Just south-east of Jeongneung lies an oasis of charming streets, small art galleries and charming wine bistros. Welcome to Samcheong-dong: the anti-Seoul. It is populated with fresh air, blue skies and a strange serenity.

After only 1 visit, I already adore it. Even more impressive than this neighborhood’s sprawling cuteness is the food. Real. Wonderful. Honest-to-god. Food. After being here almost 3 months, Slow Garden was absoulte heaven. I had the pleasure of indulging in a mushroom risotto and a glass. of. wine.
